Wow, I think tigg either got an old bottle or mine was way too young...This had the color of lightly-flavored lemon water, sparkled with prickly bubbling, and projected a bubblegummy honey sweetness...The meager flavors quickly became soporific, as alcohol pinched towards the end...The table white wine body neared that of water...Efficient as a sweet white wine replacement (a cheap one that is), never unpleasant, but highly forgettable...

Bottle straight from the meadery.

Very musty yet sweet honeycomb aroma with plenty of tart berries and floral characteristics. Clear and very pale coloured body with legs that recedes quickly. Initially very fruity and almost juicelike in character with a honey sweetness emerging late in the taste and a blend of fruit and sweetness in the aftertaste. Strong alcohol warming to the rather full, sweet body. Cider glass. Fridge temperature. Bottle.

Tranluscent white color. Subtle aroma of honey, it’s sweet and there’s a fruity feeling to it too. Very smooth and sweet flavor of honey. Liquorous texture. It’s definitely interesting but I don’t think I’ll become a big fan of mead.
