[ Bottle ][ ½ of 50cl ][ Tasting ][ $16 ][ Tulip ][ 11.28.14 ]
translucent amber, dense large bubbled white head, lasting and with good lacing. Nose is dustier than Dochter, less oily harsh stink, more rounded with faintly buttery oak. Thinner, toaster flavor, not as bright or lasting, tons of citrus and cracker sweetness at front, high acidity mid tingles jaw, more muted and creamy body, bitterness lingering in finish, at once grass yet oily Chardonnay, noticeable mineral bitterness alongside small bubbled co2 effervescence in finish.

Pour is clear golden amber with lots of tight white head that sits around for a while and leaves a nice lacing. Nose is similar to the dochter, a little less harsh, more rounded. Moderate dusty brett and a little peppery spice, very fruity back end with gold fruits aplenty with some juicy red grape notes. Flavor is dusty up front, very light peppery spice mid palate, a faint watery up front. Back is lots of golden fruits towards the back. Light sourness in the finish with a touch of hop bitterness. Body is very similar to dochter, strong carb, body is still light and airy.
