Bottle shared by tom10101, huge thanks!! Pours a hazy golden with some light foam that leave good lacing. Aroma is fruity, rustic. It has a really nice winey feel. A lot of brett action going on. Taste is dry and citrusy, slightly tart with again a lot of brett-derived flavors (fruits and leather, mostly). Body is light, carbonation is medium. I could drink gallons of this. A really nice introduction to Forest & Main!

Bottle (750 ml). From Michael, thanks! Clear golden/orange with a small persistent white head and some lacing. Aroma is winey and super fruity with a nice farmhhouse character, brettanomyces... really enticing. Taste is also very fruity with citrus/lemon, white wine, brettanomyces, light tartness, light but perfect malt backbone and yeasty notes. Light/medium body. Moderate carbonation. Slightly dry and winey mouthfeel. Extremely complex, but also amazingly drinkable. All in finesse. Very nice barrel treatment. This is a masterpiece.

Pours a hazy golden orange from the bottle with fluffy white head and light lace. Aroma is slight funky sour, hints of grass and grape. Taste follows, awesome sour and funk, hints of earth and hay. Very nice. Probably should have let this age a bit, but still drinks really nice.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2013 Bottle at tasting, popped the cap off with one finger...problems bottling? pours hazy golden orange with small white power head. Aromas and taste of vino, oak, lemon, white wine, light acidic grape. Glad I Drank it fresh because these bottles are seriously messed up. Never had a beer you could uncap with one digit. Also don’t know why a 200 bottle release let’s cases go out the door. Baffling. Still nice beer drink.

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2013 DRAFT VERSION: Golden-amber body. Medium sized, off-white head, decent lacing. Nose is lightly lactic, with some citrus, green apples, and oak. Distinctive vinous notes. Flavor is similar with a pleasant soft fruitiness and lactic tartness. Medium to light bodied, appropriately carbonated, mild acidity and light sourness and tartness.

From a growler courtesy of jwattsrugger. Pours red/amber with a thin off white head. Tart fruit aroma with touches of wood, vanilla and brown sugar. A lot of sour funk in the taste. Interesting to say the least. I enjoyed it, but not for everyone. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Sour, slightly bitter after taste. Again, I liked it.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a deep amber with little head. aroma is very wine-ish with some lactic notes. taste is really interesting. Slightly peppery but very mellow, rounded, subdued red wine flavor. Really grows on you with a slight lactic tang reminiscent of warm milk. makes for an amazing session beer with the low alcohol percentage.
