500ml bottle. Golden/orange shade. White head fades to nothing. Wild and winey aroma. Notes of orchard and citrus fruits. Lightly dry and sour taste with some yoghurty character. Well balanced stuff with the barrel in a supporting role rather than overpowering.

_angst_ (4466) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 23, 2016
Bottle sample courtesy of Carl. Pours very hazy burnt orange with a small frothy white head that leaves some sparse sticky trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny malty, slightly fruity and slightly funky with sourdough crackers, lemon juice, lime juice, clotted cream, hay, dry soil, noble rot grapes, pineapple, star fruit, barnyard, leather, lemon zest and hints of apple cider vinegar. Taste is tiny sweet, sour, slightly malty, tiny fruity and slightly funky. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tart, slightly dry and medium bodied. Finish is sour with rustic sourdough malts, citric and lactic acidity, heavy barnyard funk and hints of yellow tropical fruits. Good but not very bright nor bouyant. Would have loved a crisper malt base and fruitier funk.
