Nearly opaque black color with a small, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, dark fruits, cocoa, burnt wood, and light alcohol. Taste of roast, some smoke, light charred wood, dark chocolate, dark fruits, light alcohol, and a semi sweet finish.

Deep black-brown body, thin pale tan head, soapy lacing. Nose is rich chocolate, coffee, espresso, and roasted malts. Flavor is quite roasty, with freshly brewed coffee, dark chocolate, and fruity sweetness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, roasty/earthy finish.

Shared growler. Pours pitch black with no head whatsoever. the aroma has some chocolate maltiness with some coffee / mocha notes in the distance. The taste is very roast forward with a sweet coffee finish. New brewery that caught my attention after this. Nice.
