3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample at GABF - I was super excited to try these guys’ lineup. And they did not dissapoint. A little funk, spice, fruity and grassy on the nose. Taste again is just lightly funky and tart with spice, grassy, citrus (lemon). I really dug this a light refreshing, but flavorful saison. Not overly deep but really enjoyable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
GABF 2013. Pours a bit hazy yellow appearance with a white head. Brett shines through nicely in the aroma with funky lemon, herbal, cobweb notes. Flavor was pretty refreshing, lightly tart with a fair amount of fruits (tangerine, pineapple, orange). Pretty cool beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap @ GABF. Cloudy golden pour with a white head. Wow. Great mango, melon, and lemon zest on the nose. Peach, orange, and a light tropical note. Light funk, grass, and malt. Flavor is somewhat tart and heavy on the fruit. Sweet mango, peach, and melon. Some lemon zest, grass, pineapple, orange, and grass. Subtle funk and yeast. Really solid.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at GABF. Pour is hazy yellow with a small white head and decent lacing. Slightly funky, grassy, biscuity, some spice, and pineappley aroma. Taste is lightly tart, white pepper, cloves, basil, doughy, grassy, and citrusy, but all flavors are all very muted. Light body with high carbonation. OK, but really very simple and boring - not much complexity.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle courtesy of Dallas at Paul’s July 2013 tasting. Pours a bright, hazy orange body with nice white foamy lacing and lots of active carbonation. Aroma is subtle fruit, lemon, spice, yeast and wheat. Mouthfeel is medium and delicate with notes of soft fruits, spices, lemon peel, grass and yeast. Nice saison, would like to see how the brett evolves this beer over time.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared at Paul’s housewarming tasting. Pours a lightly hazed gold with a thin white head. Big gorgeous musk, a touch of lemony citrus. Smells lovely. Sweet and musky right away. Beautifully balanced, a touch of tartness comes in over musky yeast. Finishes with a bit more lingering musk.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 44 of 204 shared at Paul’s tasting. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose and taste of yeast, lemon, bready malt and peppercorn. Medium body. The brett character hasn’t really come out yet, but still a nice saison.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at tasting shared by Billy Dregs, color was hazy yellow or gold I believe. Lots of brett, dry wood, fruit. Tastes like it could age out a bit, maybe a few months. Really dry and slightly ashy in the finish. Not bad but should improve with time.
