A little hazy orange colored beer, with a little white head. The aroma is sweet bitter, caramel malts and some fruits. The taste is scintillating, caramel, hop bitter. Some flavors of cherries. The aftertaste is a little bittersweet and disappears quickly.

Bright orange color with medium white head. Sweet caramel nose. Cloying sweet taste, scant hops. Not much complexity.

Bottle: Poures a murky orange brown with a medium off white creamy head. Aroma is fruity and has a slight evergreen hint. Taste is pine and fruit, pretty hoppy for a Belgium.

Courtesy of Fonefan. It’s a beautiful, warm amber color and the head is dense and creamy. The aroma is hoppy and fruity with a touch of spruce. The flavour has a nice sweetness that is nicely balanced by a hoppy bitterness. It has notes of fruit, spruce, cantaloupe melon, and hints of peach and tangerine. It’s really nice.

Bottle @ Zythos Bier Festival 2008, Sint Niklaas, Belgium. Unclear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, biscuits, moderate to light heavy hoppy, pine needles. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (010308)

ZBF08. Malty, hoppy aroma. Dark mudddy brown colour. Small light brown head. I like it.

Mango and apricot aroma - Anna says mandarin too. Some apricot to the taste, and with a grainy, almost husky, finish - but still very fruity.

7 Massive apple crumble aroma, some raisins and spice.
4 Rich oarange, brief head.
7 Super fruity body, some mustardy spice.
4 Smooth palate, soft carbonation. Finish yeasty and spicy.
14 Super solid full Belgian ale.

ZBF2008: From tap. Pours hazy light brown with a lacing white head. Distinct sharp spice aroma. Pinewood. Fruity pine flavour, medium sweet and with a light malt base. Goes into a strange pineapple and pinewood flavoured finish.

Bottle at ZBF 2008. Clear amber coloured with a medium sized off white head. Perfumed aroma of fruits, spices and yeast. Perfumed flavour of dried apricots, spices and yeast. Spicy finish.
