(750ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye) Pours reddish brown with floaties present. Nose is complex with the Belgian yeast, overripe bananas and alcohol. Flavor is very yeasty, brown sugar and sweet malts which was expected with the floaters, with a nice spicy bite on the finish.

Bottle, 75cl corked. It pours with lots of chunks, else it looks clear. The body has a dark golden color, and the head is a finger-thick, beige one leaving lacings. Canned tropical fruits, dried fruit and alcohol on the nose. Unusual but nice. The flavor is a bit heavy on the alcohol, with dried fruits and white sugar blending in. Full-bodied and warming, finishing with a fine bitterness and too much alcohol warmth. A quite nice beer, but too much focused on the alcohol. Wouldn’t mind repeating it though. 100521
