Clear deep orange beer, irregular off-white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, honey, orange peel, orange blossom, bit soapy, oxidised, sherry notes. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: smoky, really smoky. How come I am the only one who gets smoke in this beer? New batch? Wrong label? Also some citrus, bit artificial, sweet, lemony, some honey, green apples, sour. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, sour, bit dirty, lemony, vinegar touch., honey and orange peel. Is it infected? Tastes as if the whole batch has been oxidised during fermentation or lagering. Not a fan anyway.

Hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Light crisp palate, dry. Spices - sweetish ginger, white pepper. Trace of citrus. Floral note. Dry and creamy pale malt. Dry finish. Okay.

Bottle from malting pot. Gold body with slight head. Nose is ginger, sweet. Taste is malts, caramel and too much ginger. Really unpleasant.

Bottle 33cl, a cloudy amber beer with huge head that goes quickly. Nose is full of ginger and yeast. Aroma is spicy, peppery, ginger, orange like. Lot of herb in this beer and low hops, agrume.

(Bottle, Pochenellekelder, Brussels, 20 July 2012) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, herbal nose with notes of dried fruit, orange and a touch of rosemary. Fruity, spicy taste with orange, apricots, caramel and herbal hints of rosemary. Slightly more than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and quite nice.

Bottle. Pours murky orange with white head. Nose/taste of nutmeg, Christmas spices, spruce tips, yeast and lemon peel. Finishes dry and earthy with lemon peel. Medium body.

One of my favorites,great job from the guys of BGV.They brew the Forestinne beers,using the installations of Caracole.
Nice blond beer,with a slight taste of pine.

Bottle from Belgian Shop. Pours cloudy orange with a big creamy snow white head. Aroma of belgian yeast and citrussy hops, some cellar. Taste is moderate sweet malty with a herbal light bitter finish. Nothingspecial, just ok.
