Brewed specially for Easter, this smooth dry stout pours a dark chocolate brown with a fluffy espresso head. In the glass there are pronounced notes of milk chocolate, silky caramel and roasted coffee.

UPDATED: OCT 5, 2013 Definite chocolate taste but didn’t have a lot else going for it. Somewhat disappointing and I’d recommend trying any alternatives first.

Bubbly head. Dark brown. Chocolatey aroma with vague nuttiness, quite a bit of vanilla. Fairly clean vanilla bean character like when you cut open the bean and scrape it. Residual bitterness suggests that they tossed the beans into the beer after scraping them. Not bad balanced even if I’m not a fan of vanilla beer in general.
