341mL bottle from a mixed-6, from the brewery’s retail store. Pours out a nice lively gold with a large frothy white head. The aroma is alright, some decent cereal grain malts, but with that signature Formosa Spring water touch that puts a lot of people off. It’s hard to describe, but it’s sort of a minerally character that can seem a bit off. The flavour is more of the same with a nice sweet finish. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if there were adjuncts in here but they are not very apparent or offensive. Seems like a blend of JR Brickman Pils with their Red Baron lager, and knowing Brick that might literally be what this is. But all things considered it is quite drinkable and borderline mildly tasty.

a nice easy drinking lager. nothing to complain about but offer zero complexity. very typical of the style but probably the best value out there right now.

Nothing really special, but the 28 pack is a great deal. This was a staple in my old house with my buddy and my girlfriend - for 3 people, a 28 is a great way to ensure you’ve got beers for the week. The flavour is as okay as you can get - a bit vegetal, but something about this beer just seems to make you forget you’re drinking something cheaper. Better than the macros, and at a better price. Like I said, nothing special, but remember that when Bud 28 packs go on sale for $35+, this stuff is always less at regular price. A great after-work beer.

34ml brown bottle. pale gold colour, noisy white head, short lasting. Light grain aroma. Flavour is also grainy, dry in the finish. Body is thin, quite carbonated.

Not bad, lacing; foggy yellow.malt, mild bitter. Good all the way down, but a little on the watery side. Aroma wasn’t much either.

Stopped in at the brewery in the town of Formosa. While the beer is brewed here the retail store is just another Brick Brewing Co. retail store. Pours a clear gold colour with no head. Vegital like aroma of malt. Taste is malt and adjunct. I’m guessing the original recipehas been greatly modified since being taken over by Brick and I can’t help but think what a beer this might have been before.Hopefully Creemore doesn’t meet the same fate.

t says fresh draft, but there are definite preservatives in here, because only they give me indigestion. Initially malty medium mouthfeel, followed by the usual metallic lager drying long finish from so many inferior beers.
