JesseM (661), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Apr 2, 2009 341mL bottle from a mixed-6, from the brewery’s retail store. Pours out a very pale yellow with a large white head. Aroma? There is no aroma, this is a light beer. Well maybe a couple of gran husks, that’s about it. Flavour? There is no flavour, this is a light beer. Well actually, it is like fizzy water with a slightly sweet and sour aspect to it hidden amongst all the Formosa water. The low score isn’t really because it was aweful, it was actually quite drinkable, there simply is just so little to give any legitimate points to. Cartoonkhaki (1149), Brantford, Ontario, Canada Sep 15, 2007 Light clean pale yellow with white head. Aroma is a non-exhistant malt grass. Clean watery palate. Wow what fun... Nonoffensive. I’m sure that is what they wanted. Sammy (3934), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 17, 2006 A poor quality beer, metallic watery, sour dry finish. no aroma nor taste. Some herbal quality and sourness. Overcarbonated. Everything you don’t want in a beer. Save for a macro blind tasting. At the brewery on tap. MrManning (1634), London, Ontario, Canada Jun 18, 2006 Thanks Leigh A! Pours transparent gold with a one inch foamy white cap. Some lacing, but not a lot. Grassy aroma with some paper, faint hops, straw/hay. Taste is mildly hoppy with herbal/grass flavours, watery hops and some sweet malt. Spritzy finish. Pretty good for a light. pootzboy (1037), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada Jun 17, 2006 Pours a light gold with a 1 finger cap that has moderate retention and light lacing. Well carbonated.
Aromas of boiled grains, slight sourness ( from real lager yeast) and some grassy smells
Medium-light body, thin, sandy mouthfeel. Light malts up front become balanced by a light lemony decernment from the hops. Clean finish with light bready tones and a final hop dryness.
A pleasant all-malt light beer with a flavor profile approximating a light edelhell. A premium light beer.
