Föroya Bjór Black Sheep premium dark lager is an excellent beer with a great taste, brewed by Föroya Bjór, a Faroese family owned brewery founded in 1888. The Black Sheep from Föroya Bjór is a beer of th very best quality. The islanders may have a fishy economy but the Faroese beer is second to none. The brewery has always had a ram in its logo.

I’m very proud of this beer, because it comes from that exotic country. :-) Bought it in Denmark. It has brown reddish color with small head. It has taste of sweet malt and it’s lightly bitter. Solid beer.

Rötlich, klar. Kein Schaum. Geruch muffig + fruchtig. Mundvoll, aber nur wenig bitter. Durchschnittlich.

(2) Not worth trying. If you are trying to make your way around the world in beer - then the F islands is a good go - or need to go.

Amber pour with small off white head. Hints of fruit on the nose. Flavor is malty, with granny smith apple and other tart fruit. Little to no carbonation. Finish is crisp. Thanks to my folks for the bottle.

Aroma of malt and caramel. Not much foam, clear golden brown liquid. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Average carbonation, light body.

Bottle from my old stash @ my parents. Dark amber colour with a small off-white head. Smells malts, sweet. Tastes sweet, malts, slightly raisin. Not bad. Thin to medium body, soft carbo.

Halovány árnyék a bőr alatt tipusú sör, de annak csodálatos. Néha-néha előbújik belőle a karamelizált kisördög.

Crystal clear medium amber body with a small, off-white head of average life-time. Malty and moderate aroma of pale malts, grain, caramel and light hops. Moderate flavour that follows the aroma, with additional fruits. Light to moderate sweet and light bitter taste. Fairly light-bodied, dry and with a moderate carbonation. This beer is almost as boring as this rating.
