Faroese: Classic er ein frísk, aromatisk bjór viđ góđum humlusmakki. Classic er bryggjađ viđ myrkum malti, iđ gevur ein eyđkendan malt- og karamelsmakk.

English: Föroya Bjór Classic is darker and tastes more of malt than Vedraöl. The flavour is balanced with a good taste of hops. The beer goes well with food, especially powerful meat courses and spicy food from the Far East.

Bottle. 4.6%. Best before 26.01.13. Pours a clear, dull golden with an off-white head. Decent lacing. Sweetish, fruity, cereal aroma with a hint of hops. Notes of grass as it warms. Flavour is malt and cereals with remote metallic and cardboard overtones, the latter increasing as it warms. Light grainy note. Finish is a bit grainy, dryish and has a mild hop bitterness. Overall mediocre. 16.11.12.

Bottle at Hotel Vagar. Pours clear dark golden/amber with a small cramy head, fast disappering. Caramel aroma, some metallic hops. Taste is light sweet caramel, metallic hoppy finish, strange brew.

(2) Not worth trying. What makes this beer a classic is the fact that the brewery added a bit of caramel to their original pilsner.

Szúrós íze van, mint kaktusznak. Sötét árnyalatú, testeskés. Nem rossz ivósör.

Can! Clear red anber colour, nice white creamy head! Aroma is dominated of Caramelly, sweet maltynes, and a dry biter hopynes. Flavor had a smouth creamy mouthfeeling of caramelly, and sweet maltynes. Thin body, short bitter finish.

Niezbyt ciemne jak na ciemnego lagera ;) Aromat nijaki, piany prawie brak. Smak aż za bardzo słodowy. Ma się wrażenie jakby pić wywar z młóta, nie polecam.

Draft. Clear pale amber with a thin white head. Your basic toffee malt and caramel chewy simple malty lager from Föroya. Medium-light body, moderately sweet with low bitterness and acidic and relatively low carbonation leads to a flabby texture. It’s a little nutty and minerallic with little to no hop character and a syrupy and short finish. Another simple amber lager of the Faroes.

@ Havregatan. Bottle from Helsingör. Malty with metallic notes, sweet, medium body with a water texture. The finish is dry, bitter and malty.
