330ml Flasche. Klar und schwarz mit minimaler Schaumkrone. Leichte Rst- und Malzaromen. Spritzig. Leichter Krper.

33cl bb08/2017. Blackish mahogani and brackish pour. Sweetish aroma of candied, faded liquorice stick and cane sugar, old toasted bread crust and muddy puddle. Thinner, brackish rendition of that in flavour and body, mainly accentuating the old bread crust (sulphurs) besides the percolator coffee and cocoa powder - not magnificent, but well in league with other widely available macro stouts on the market and in a way within style.

Mrk, nsten sort l. Skumkronen forsvinder hurtigt. Duften er karamel og det er smagen ogs, mske lidt lakrids og sirup. Den er lettere vandet. En helt almindelig stout, intet srigt.

Salwal (267) - GERMANY - DEC 8, 2015
Bottle poured into nosing glass. Low beige head that quickly vanishes. Color is dark brown intransparent. Nose is Kind of fruity, some roasted malts and nuts there too. Taste is sweetish malty, earthy but for a stout a bit watery. Finish is grassy and Kind of sweet... Okay... Nothing special besides it?s from the faroe islands lol...

(2) Not worth trying. Simple and no power to back it up with. There is not enough finish and intensity to bring it home.

Rund i det. Mere ovre i en porter eller sweet stout. Noter af kaffe men en smule syrlig.

Schwarz, schwacher Schaum. Geruch fruchtig, kaum rstig. Im Geschmack wssrig, dann komische weitere Anteile. Eher Porter als Stout.

nimbleprop (6883) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - SEP 3, 2015
33cl bottle from Secret Santa pours a murky, opaque black with some thin, off white head. Nose is mostly just candy and molasses chews, some prune. Flavor follows, cloying sweetness, licorice and molasses. Not much else. Full finish. A bit much.

Cola-like pour with quickly dissipating head. Slightly roasty, coffee and chocolate aroma. Taste is similar - a bit thin but not too bad

The smells is hard roasted malt and caramel and a little bit of licorice. The taste is also caramel and licorice with very little hop bitterness. It is very exaggerated to call it a stout, and I think the brewery should rename it to Green Islands Dark Lager, for it will not mislead customers alike. As stout, I had certainly given it some more points but as stout it may simply not impress.
