1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 mzaar (443) - Varberg, SWEDEN - JUL 20, 2011

330 ml clear bottle, at Etika, Torshavn. ABV is 4.6%. Rosé coloured beer, moderate pinkish white head. Fresh aroma of rhubarb and citrus. Light bodied. Refreshing flavour of rhubarb and hints of citrus, not sweet, but the hops are too moderate. Goes well with sushi though.

330 ml bottle. BB 26/03/2011. From Denmark. Courtesy of oh6gdx.
Clear red colour with small off-white head. Looks like strawberry juice.
Malt, grain and some sugary sweetness in aroma.
Flavour is pretty much the same. Drinkable malty and grainy beer. I couldn’t find the evidence of rhubarb. Some sweetness though.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 NosirIwont (1586) - Aalborg Vestby, DENMARK - JUL 29, 2010
Bottle. 3½ months past ’best before’. Thanks to Faroeviking. Pours a slightly hazy deep golden with a pinkish touch. Small pinkish/white head. Dry, tart, malty aroma. Fruity/berry-like notes as it warms. Sweetish and tart, malty flavour with a metallic touch. Has a weird ’airy’ herbal note. Faint plastic notes, but not so much that it interferes with the ’experience’. As it warms the same fruity/berry-like notes as in the aroma develops and then moves on to a perfumy note. Bitter finish; just touching liquorice initially, but not seeing it through. Lingering as a tart bitterness. Overall so-so. Not bad, but not really interesting either – the rhubarb didn’t seems to do much other than provide some fruity and perfumy notes. Didn’t seem to have ’deteriorated’ despite the ’aging’ though. 29.07.10.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 stobbe74 (3163) - DENMARK - JUL 3, 2010
Sampled at DØE Beerfestival 2010, TAP1. Pours a clear and red(!) beer with a white head. The aroma is malt and sweetness. The flavor is weak with malt and sweetness. The palate is likewise weak. Overall a boring beer.
