On tap at the brewpub. Deep golden colour guessed through the stein. Nice grassy and spicy hoppiness, ending nice and dry. A super pilsner, best in class.

On tap at the brewpub. Sweet citrusness, well-balanced body, soft carbonation, the best with the local weiswurst.

Süffiger, herb-karamelliger Antrunk. Süffig bleibend, etwas brotig werdend, die Aromen bleiben ansonsten weitgehend konstant. Die Karamellnote geht mit der Zeit etwas zurück, dahinter wirkt das Bier etwas schal. Nett aber nicht überragend. 7/8/9/9/7/9

Tap at brewpub. Golden yellow (though hard to really get the whole picture due to stone glassware) with a pure white head. Aroma is earthy, dusty, and dry. Lots of grassy hoppiness, hay, straw, and a touch of earth in the flavor. Silky body and a little slick, nice carbonation. Good drinking.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Fruity malty bready aroma. Fruity malty grainy bready flavor bitter hints. Has a fruity malty bready finish.

Bottle and draft at brewpub. Copper color is clear and a very nice hue. The thin cap lasts a long time. Nice clean grassy aromas are sweeter and more caramelly than expected. Palate is slightly slick. The flavors vary from being very fresh and herbal like basil to earthy and mushroom. Finishes pleasantly dry.

Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of joss. Aged example. It pours a beautiful clear deep golden beer with no head at all. Inviting aroma with home made caramel, a huge amount of figs, spicy hops, dandelion, honey, coconut, pineapple and candy sugar appearing. Complex taste. No carbonation. Medium to full bodied. Quite sweet but balanced by a decent bitterness. Lovely hops. Pineapple, crackers, papaya and a lot of home made caramel and dandelion showing up. Some gooseberries sneaking in. Dry bitter finish which lingers for a very long time. Thanks a lot joss for this great beer!

rbesg08 grand tasting, bottled. seemed more like a bavarian than bohemian pils to me. anyways, quite pale golden with a thin white head, very clean, hints of red berry and hay in the aroma, crisp without being very bitter, quite good stuff

(bottle) clear golden colour, tall white head. aroma of sweet pale malts, floral hops, caramel, blackcurrant, yeast. flavour is the same, blackcurrant and all, with more floral hops. mild carbonation, medium body, light bitter finish.
