   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 13/20
DruncanVeasey (4794) - NUNEATON, Conference North, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - AUG 8, 2009
Draught, Cafe Batani, Piazzale Michaelanelo, Firenze. At 6 Euros for a 200ml flute, probably the most expensive draught beer I’ve had anywhere in the world, and certainly one of the most scenic. Anyway, pale with a greenish tinge and a thinning white rim. Herbal fresh hop, dabs of eucalyptus and honey aroma. Quenching lemon and pine needle bite, slight dishcloth dankness, faint mist, earthy piney hop. Good lingering dryness, dip of breadstick. Lean, refreshing and citrussy pils. Top drawer Italian macro, was totally convinced it was German. Am I rating the right beer??
