Nice medium malt aroma with a bit of grape?. Slightly hazy brassy gold color with a white head that comes and goes. Leaves tatters of lace. Medium bodied. Starts with light grape, accompanied by medium dark malt. At least it’s medium compared to Bud. The finish has a touch of bitter to balance the malt, but that grape aspect lingers. Pretty decent for a "pale" lager.

Schaumkrone mittelmäßig, helle Farbe. Schmeckt wässrig, nach Mais und Bitter nicht gut aber Trinkbar. Fazit: Wieder einmal ein Italiener der mir nicht gefällt, ich hoffe es kommt bald mal ein vernünftiger….

Clear yellow with a lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and corn. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. Watery. 290412

Tap at Eataly Bologna. Pours cloudy gold with a fine, fluffy white head. Big wheat and orange aroma. Big sweet flavor with wheat, light straw, yeast, sugar, gum and orange juice. Light to medium bodied with fine, soft carbonation. The condition is really lacking. Sweet finish with some floral notes, perfume, wheat, orange. OK. Definitely nothing like a pale lager, though...I wonder if the bartender served me the wrong beer...

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Slightly papery and minimally bready malty aroma with shy herbal hoppy notes. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a rather calm carbonation. Initially sweet malty and slightly bready and biscuity taste drying out a bit towards the malt-accented and slightly papery finish with a whiff of bitter hops. 30.VIII.11

Very thin white head. Pale golden clear pour. Not bad for a lager

Canned. Golden color with white head. Corny aroma. taste is light hoppy, more grainy with malty tones. Some bitter tones in finish.

Golden colored with little white head. Fruity, slightly chocolaty aroma with some grains and leafy hops. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor also has this grainy, slightly chocolaty tone, rich grassy hops here as well, which last in aftertaste.

This is as standard of an EPL as it gets. 33cl bottle, best before 08.01.12.
It pours a clear gold with a white head, nothing special, but not bad.
The smell is straight-up epl. Some paper, some bread, some grain, and a bit of tanginess.
The flavor is mostly benign malt and tanginess. There is a slight bit of orange but not much. Not much bitterness. There is a bit of plasticy taste too.
Ho-hum.

Geruch bitterhopfig mit malzigen Noten. Hopfiger Start. In der Mitte malzig, jedoch auch störend mehlig-trocken, was die Süffigkeit des Bieres beeinträchtigt. Das Bild hält sich auch im Abgang, wo noch ein paar süßliche Sprenkel dazukommen.
