Could this be a bock? It’s really sweet and bocky. Delicious stuff with some alcohol and some complexity. I’m very surprised (pleasantly) with this brew. Mega-malty flavor with little hoppiness.

Draught @ a small pizzaria near palazzo Quirinale in Rome: Golden coloured. Clear. White medium sized dense head. Malt, some hops, fruits and a light note of cocoa in the aroma. Flavour of herbs, hops and sweetness. Is smoot and velvety on the palate. Has some bitterness. Quite good after drinking shitty pale lagers for days.

Draught at Eataly, Bologna. Clear golden with a medium white head that slowly diminished. A clean aroma of flower and malt. Flavour is crisp malt, citrus and light spice. Solid malt backbone. Very clean and crisp. Light hoppy finish. Refreshing - nice one.

This is Premium bigger sister, and similarly to her this is not the usual lager. 660ml glass bottle - Should be tasted very cold (suggested temperature is 7°C). Aroma is earthy, very strong cereal presence, spiced bread. Appears bright gold, frothy head. Medium bitterness, little salty, medium body, thin feel, average carbonation, a little astringent and bitter finish. I consider in rating this that i enjoyed this a lot on tap at brewery’s pub, completely different (and much better) taste. It was delightful after a day walking in nearby hills.

On tap at the Eataly store, Bologna, Italia, 25.02.11 Pours warm gold/light amber medium carbonation. This was soft in the mouth, lagery malts showing. Bit of dryness and citrus and whilst absolutely fine there isn’t an awful lot more going on here. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Aldrighetti (162) - Coltura, ITALY - FEB 20, 2004
Creamy white head, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Clear body, yellow to very pale golden colour.
Nose with a nice honey charachter, typically Forst pale beer aroma. Honey both in aroma and taste, bread, malty taste, light herbal bitterness. Medium to light body, oily texture. A very honest beer, maye one of the best italian industrial pale lager.
