Tasted 14/4/15 at Corniglia, Italy. BB 10/10/15. Poured a crystal clear amber with a one-finger white open foamy head that diminished quickly and laced very poorly. Carbonation extremely low and coarse; went flat. Aroma subtly of light malt; no obvious hops. Taste of light malt with a slight hops bitterness. Light body, becoming watery as it warms. Smooth, crisp, refreshing if cold and with a linger slight bitterness. Another macro-lager.

Often the Premium version of beers is not actually an upgrade to the normal beer version. For Forst premium the spezial version is actually quite good. A beer that goes well with the mountain and wood area that it comes from.

50 cl from tap@Seiser Alm ski area in the Dolomites, where this is the standard fare...unfortunately. Though there is nothing wrong with the appearance, head and carbonation, Forst is a boring, too sweet standard lager with no distinguisihing features, lacking in malt and hops tastes. I try to avoid it as it gives me no pleasure and I would rater save my share of alcohol for something else.

Draft. This seems to be the go-to beer of Italian ski country. Pours yellow gold with a fizzy head. Very typical pale lager, plain and bland malty base, low bitterness, low sweetness, no real noticeable off flavors. Not bad.

Birra Buona ma niente di che. Odore di grano e erba ,così come in bocca si trovano gli stessi sapori. Acquosa, corpo snello, ha il merito di essere Beverina.
