Asolutely my favourite pils at all within Hansa pils(Norway). Fantastic beer, this is an excellent pils made with all the rules. The Brewery in Algund,in Sud-Tyrol is old an beautiful. For me did’nt exist a better pils in Italy.

(The rating is for the draught version, the canned beer was more dull= On tap in Firenze. A very well hopped pilsener. Crisp, dry and refershing, almost like my favourite hoppy pilsener from Jever! Lovely piney finish.

Bottle at an interesting olive farm in Arizona, of all places. Solid gold with a firm head. Very smooth, and not corny at all, as one might expect. Quite good, actually. (#4090, from notes in Jan 2011)

Tap at a pizzeria in Firenze. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Crisp grassy aroma. Med body. Flavor is bready and grassy. Clean. Almost Urquell.

Not a bad beer at all for a session. Pours a tall head that lingers with a pale yellow color. Aromas of skunky toast. Light nectar with good carbonation. Very mellow and smooth with a superb bittering component. Seriously, not bad.

0.66 l bottle. Pours crystal clear golden color with medium smaller head. Sweetish aroma of some malts, with maybe just a hint of citrus hops if any. I thought it would be one of those nasty sweet lagers. But no, flavor was well balanced, maybe not bitter enough for a pilsener, but pleasantly light bodied, which could not be described as watery. Leaves very nice long finish, too, following the flavor. Nice surprise, definitely underrated comparing to many bad lagers.

Bottle@Dolomites, Italy. Golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is dry and fruity and the flavour is quite dry with a bitter finish. Overall not half as bad as I was expecting.

[bottle] Nice crisp malt aroma in balance with fresh noble hops. Bright golden straw under white wisps. Crisp malt flavour with a little dry hay and sweet herbal hops ending. Light to medium body, medium carbonation, almost clean finish.
