09/04 0.33 l bottle ogivlado got at the brewpub, huge thanks for sharing! It poured a brown body with no head at all. Caramel malty and sugary aroma. Brandy-ish flavor, sweet sugary sticky and caramelly with figs, some dark fruits and licorice. A bit out of balance with all that alcohol. Warming, sweet prolonged finish. This should be aged, I think it will reveal its true quality then only. Similar beer to Samichlaus, now far below by quality but it could easily become better with aging.

Bottled(330ml). -Only 400bottles, all sold out. 15€ bottle. Samichlaus like beer. Clear amber coloured, almost no head, caramel alcoholic nose. Sweet malt, dark fruits and warming alcohol. Notes of figs and caramel. A bit unbalanced, but after few more tries I think it’s gonna be excellent. So far quality doesn’t match the price. Vintage 2007.

Poured a nice red-amber body witha almost no head. Somewhat simple nose, caramel and grainy maltiness. Sweet taste, some chocolate, figs, raisins, grain, beets?, slightly herbal, a bit sticky. Caramel, light honey. Only light alcohol. Tasty, but, as Ogi said, this brewery has kinda spoiled us and we expected more. Needs just some more balance to be a great beer.
