Ein außergewöhnlisches Bier, der Wolf im Schafspelz. Freundlich und harmlos im Antrunk, dann jedoch kommt sie - die gewisse Schärfe - und macht den Abgang zu einem besonderen Erlebnis.
Note: ABV from 5.1% to 4.9%.

yellow, hazy color. off white head which disappears quickly. quite sour / yeasty smell, hints of banana, quite a lot of carbonation. medium body, the hot chili taste overwhelms very quickly and too soon, that is why I wasnt able to identify any other tastes. very long very spicy finish.

Flasche mit McTapps. Etwas laff und wässrig, dafür mit einem leicht pfeffrigen touch. Brühe spielt auch noch eine Rolle. Geht so.

Bottle from trade with Geiserich - thank you, Michael! Beer pours out in a clear yellow colour with unsteady low head and thin body. Aroma of chili and broth. Taste of the water which is to be found in the cans or glasses with chilis in it which has to be drained, dull peppers, broth and hops. Not really nice or easy to drink.

16/04 A 0.33 l bottle from Ammersin liquor store, Vienna. It poured hazy golden body with small had and ton of yeast floating. Weak red mild pepper aroma spiced up with lemony and herbal hops. A bit hot flavor, earthy, fine chilli notes felt now, and as it usually gets, they become stronger towards the finish. Nothing too hot, really pleasant, well blended with herbal dryness and weak bread malts. Medium bodied. Sure, if not the best, then one of the top chilli beers around, nothing excessive like these can get.

Wässriger Antrunk mit angenehmem Chiliaroma. Danach wird das Bier schärfer aber geschmacklich langweilig. Laff bleibend. 9/8/5/5/7/5

Bottle, heavy’s. Poured a misty golden body with a small white head. Nice dusty herbal aromatic hop with some peppers in the nose. This actually struck a fine balanced between a nice herbal hopiness blended wonderfully with the pepper flavors, ending in a burn that’s anything but excessive. This must’ve been reformulated, the ABV change might prove that. Now, it’s actually one of the better chili beers around.

0,33 l bottle BB 31. Aug 13 from mybier.at spicy, cereals, metallic taste, herbs and spicy, spicy, spicy. Too much Chili and not enough beer IMHO. Golden color, clear, frothy, white foam. salty, light body + thin feel, soft carbonation, long spicy finish,

Bottle 330ml. @ [ Edinburgh Danish Invasion Tasting) by cgarvieuk - Edinburgh ].

Gusher !! Hazy matt medium yellow colour with virtually none head and lacing. Aroma is moderate to heavy sweet chili fruit, light malty, grain, toasted, citrus notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long long duration of burning burning chili, chili and chili. Very hot and burning nothing for me at all. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20120422]

[330ml bottle courtesy of dan] Pours a strange hue of opaque orange. No head. Sweet pepper aroma, reminded me of those sweet chilies you can buy at deli’s, or the ones you get on Pizza Express American Hot pizzas. The nose hums a little, but it’s not too bad. Downhill from there, unfortunately – well, off a sheer cliff, from there. Monumental chilli burn. Huge chilli. It’s undrinkable – like sipping police-issue pepper spray. If you could give 0 for taste and palate, I would. The only saving grace is that it was hopefully an experiment. As a beer, it’s an affront to nature – you could kill animals with this. As bad as the Isle of Wight Garlic Beer – and believe me, that’s saying something [22042012]

In bottle at Craig’s. First beer of the evening which probably wasn’t the best choice. This is seriously hot for a beer. Pours a cloudy light golden colour. Aroma of chilli, lemon and ginger. Similar flavours with mild carbonation.
