3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 heavy (1956) - Split, CROATIA - MAY 17, 2013
16/04 A 0.33 l bottle from Ammersin liquor store, Vienna. It poured hazy golden body with small had and ton of yeast floating. Weak red mild pepper aroma spiced up with lemony and herbal hops. A bit hot flavor, earthy, fine chilli notes felt now, and as it usually gets, they become stronger towards the finish. Nothing too hot, really pleasant, well blended with herbal dryness and weak bread malts. Medium bodied. Sure, if not the best, then one of the top chilli beers around, nothing excessive like these can get.

Wässriger Antrunk mit angenehmem Chiliaroma. Danach wird das Bier schärfer aber geschmacklich langweilig. Laff bleibend. 9/8/5/5/7/5
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Marko (3614) - Split, CROATIA - APR 16, 2013
Bottle, heavy’s. Poured a misty golden body with a small white head. Nice dusty herbal aromatic hop with some peppers in the nose. This actually struck a fine balanced between a nice herbal hopiness blended wonderfully with the pepper flavors, ending in a burn that’s anything but excessive. This must’ve been reformulated, the ABV change might prove that. Now, it’s actually one of the better chili beers around.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ Edinburgh Danish Invasion Tasting) by cgarvieuk - Edinburgh ].
Gusher !! Hazy matt medium yellow colour with virtually none head and lacing. Aroma is moderate to heavy sweet chili fruit, light malty, grain, toasted, citrus notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long long duration of burning burning chili, chili and chili. Very hot and burning nothing for me at all. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20120422]
1.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 BeerCast_Rich (1692) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 1, 2012
[330ml bottle courtesy of dan] Pours a strange hue of opaque orange. No head. Sweet pepper aroma, reminded me of those sweet chilies you can buy at deli’s, or the ones you get on Pizza Express American Hot pizzas. The nose hums a little, but it’s not too bad. Downhill from there, unfortunately – well, off a sheer cliff, from there. Monumental chilli burn. Huge chilli. It’s undrinkable – like sipping police-issue pepper spray. If you could give 0 for taste and palate, I would. The only saving grace is that it was hopefully an experiment. As a beer, it’s an affront to nature – you could kill animals with this. As bad as the Isle of Wight Garlic Beer – and believe me, that’s saying something [22042012]
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 27, 2012
In bottle at Craig’s. First beer of the evening which probably wasn’t the best choice. This is seriously hot for a beer. Pours a cloudy light golden colour. Aroma of chilli, lemon and ginger. Similar flavours with mild carbonation.

bottle at The Danish Invasion tasting ... murky hazy yellow ... little vegative ... lightest chilli nose ... soft lemon spice with large burn on the tongue ... huge burn ... very spicy pepper hot ... no real flavor ... but i like the spice capsicum hotness... its ok to drink a little... but it could be great to cook with

Bottle from Biererei. Hazy yellow, no head. Big malty, vegetal chilli nose. Harsh chilli palate. Chilli, chilli, chilli. Mouth-destroying heat, very little else. Hot chilli finish. Wouldn’t tell from the nose! Hmm.
