Klassisch rotbraune Farbe. Glasempfehlung: Bauchiger Pokal.

330 ml bottle. Pours brown with a light brown head and some particles. The aroma is malty with some light coffee and a little breadish with a slightly sour note. Medium body with very low carbonation and a silky feeling on the tongue. Medium sweetness, lightly bitter and lightly sour. Flavor of melon, ripe stone fruits and redcurrant along with Mocca and a little alcohol. Maybe a little to long lasting bitterness in the finish that reminds of dark bread crust.

This is where it all started for me, after cheaply done lager almost made me swear off beer. The lovely brown colour, the big foamy head, the smell of fruits and coffee, the sweet and bitter taste of all before mentioned and the subtle bite of alcohol transported by this beers full body - it?s just really, really good. A beer to be remembered by. Bottle bought at Spar Mariagrün/Graz.
