Bottle: Quite sourly aroma, notes of vinegar, milk sour. Smoked ham. Hazy yellow color, cramy head. Flavor is also sourly, light malty with caramel notes, smoky, quite inetnsive notes of ham. Nice try, but unclean and sour.

Bottled 330ml. -Hazy yellow/golden coloured, small white head, strong unpleasant and stinky sauerkraut nose. No trace of smoke anywhere in the nose. Interesting, the taste is totally different; moderate malty with light smokey ham and some subdued hops. All in all quite messy beer.

Bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who found it at the brewpub (thanks!)
Poured a hazy golden body with a thick white head. Stinky yeasty, bit malty nose with nice light notes of ham. Nice smokey ham in the taste, light, but the stale yeastiness strikes again. There’s a light, slightly lemony and herbal hop too. Yup, a flawed experiment, but at a brewery that had many impressive ones, and actually experiments in a good way, so it doesn’t really matter.

Bottle. Murky amber with a medium white head. Nose of soap, egg white and burnt malt. The flavour is sugary sweet - some caramel and boozy cheap liqour. As Matt mentioned below, we commented when drinking this how it tastes like a blend of cheap whisky and a weak base beer. Not even close to hitting the mark, which is unfortunate from this brewer. Sure it’s flawed but good to see the brewer trying new things but this probably shouldn’t of been bottled.

Bottle - April 2009. Hazy amber colour with a decent white head. Aroma of smoked malt, sweet fruit and alcohol fumes. Sweet caramel malt with a light smokiness in the background. No bitterness at all and unfortunately too sweet. Leaves it with an undesirable mouthfeel and a very thin body. I get all the wrong impression of a cheap blended scotch character. Alcohol is very noticeable and on the boozy side of things. One dimensional.
