1900 is a nod to the very things that got us where we are today- crisp, clean microbrews all from the belly of a little brewery tucked away in the outskirts of Old Town. The result is a superbly refreshing, bright and delicately balanced amber lager.

Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow gold with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is honey, grain, floral. Thin mouth, sweet honey, wheat, easy to drink, good.

This is a pretty tasty malt-centric lager. Its maybe a little sweeter than it should be but it does at least have solid malt taste to back it up. Its amber in the glass w/ a small white head. It has maybe a touch of earthy hops but its all about the toasty, nutty, caramel type malt flavors. This particular combination of flavors, to me, brings to mind a bitter as much as any lager--and that is not necessarily a bad thing. It is full bodied w/ mild but still slightly prickly carbonation and finishes w/ some lingering honey-like sweetness, some iced-tea astringent notes and a touch of bitterness. If this was a little more dry, itd be a great beer. As it is, it is worth drinking but nothing special.

Twelve ounce bottle from Fort Collins variety pack bought at The Party Source. Light orange color, sweet malty nose with some skunkiness, sweet malty flavor with sweetness boardering on sugary, bitter finish with some stringency.

355ml bottle into a "perfect pint" glass. Ligher amber color and a frothy white head. It has a really odd wine aroma, its also booze perfumey like an eastern euro strong lager, some rubber and sweet fruity caramels. The flavor doesnt provide much, light herbal hops, firm but light bitterness, gentle malts, quite dry and minerally.

Aroma is honey, brown sugar, and sweet. Clear and dark orange color from 12oz bottle at home. Taste is sweet, honey, maple, and sugary. Just not a pleasant beer in my opinion. I dont like ambers much but acn appreciate a lot of them, but not this one.
