COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
1900 is a nod to the very things that got us where we are today- crisp, clean microbrews all from the belly of a little brewery tucked away in the outskirts of Old Town. The result is a superbly refreshing, bright and delicately balanced amber lager.

Had at the Great Arkansas Beer Festival 2014. Pours reddish gold with a thin off-white head. Grassy aroma. Some maltiness. Decent beer.

Premium lager my white ass. This is an amber. Mild, medium bodied. 1900 is a pretty good description...tastes antiquated. Murky unfiltered body. Lacy soapy off-white head. Borderline infected. Pretty shabby.

Maybe it's a problem with me, but all ambers kind of taste the same. This is less sweet than most and not as sticky. As an intolerant father from years ago may say... I approve of it, but not it's (life)style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle from Evergreen Discount into a wine glass. Light amber and clear appearance with an off-white head and moderate lacing. Aroma of toasted grains, toffee, light caramel malts, noble hops and a touch of herbs/spice. Similar flavor, malty, grainy, crisp, lightly rich and pretty clean. Light to medium body, pretty easy to drink. OK

Rated on 01-03-2012. This bottled beer has a large fizzy off-white head that mostly diminishes, transparent gold body, fast rising carbonation, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is crisp, malt, grainy, grassy hops, earthy, and some fruitiness. The flavor is semi-sweet, grainy, malty, grassy hops, earthy, and light fruitiness. This beer’s mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is light-medium bodied. Overall, this is a session beer and has a good flavor.

Bottle has great crackery and biscuity character, light caramel and heavy toast, and some mild spice akin to rye contributions, with thick cloud of malt, some dough, faint citrus. Pours clear golden with light orange leanings and a sudsy off-white head. Taste clean, doughy and malty, toasty with wooden undertones that last long into the finish, along with lasting light bitterness and relative dryness. Some more biscuit, very faint citrus, and the hops are concentrating more on an earthy, mildly herbal contribution. Smooth, creamy and lightly crisp medium body, clean. This has a a woodsy, natural character about it, and just a dynamite collection of flavors in good balance.

(bottle - 12 oz) Clear gold pour with a fizzy white head. Light aroma. Some dry hay notes with a very subtle hop bitterness. Grassy and wheaty at the start of the flavor with a light hop bite near the middle and a dry and clean finish.
