COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
1900 is a nod to the very things that got us where we are today- crisp, clean microbrews all from the belly of a little brewery tucked away in the outskirts of Old Town. The result is a superbly refreshing, bright and delicately balanced amber lager.

12oz bottle 11/18/11 (Courtesy of TerryR)-41° in Lager Glass-Pours a light amber with a small off white head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, and grains. Taste of the same with some hops and a bitterness on the back end. This light to medium bodied brew is not bad and would be a great summer day kinda brew.

Pour at the brewery is clear yellow with white head, aroma has notes of some grain, grass, earth, touch of biscuit notes. Taste is pretty fizzy, with notes of grass, some slight earthy grain, finishes fairly clean but not much to it.

12oz bottle from ABC poured into a shaker. Pours a light amber with a half finger of white head. Slight citrus hop aroma with some caramel malt. Taste is lightly bitter. Good hop taste with a little malt. Medium bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation and a long bitter finish. Overall, not bad. I’ll drink this one but probably wouldn’t buy it again.

Sampled on 9/26/2011. This premium lager pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is bready, malty and sweet. A medium bodied premium lager. The malts are bready, caramel and slightly sweet. A touch grainy and cereal. The hops are earthy and floral. Decent carbonation. Touch of orange at the front, a little bready and hoppy and the finish. Nicely balanced. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Bread and malty in aroma, the appearance is bronze-gold and clear. The flavor is malty and has a tea characteristic to it. A good premium lager although I could’ve cared to do without the tea aspect in flavor.

Clear gold, with a caramelly aroma and very subtle noble hops. Taste was much the same with soft tones of caramel and amber malt. Not bitter at all. A little too smooth and bland.
