COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
1900 is a nod to the very things that got us where we are today- crisp, clean microbrews all from the belly of a little brewery tucked away in the outskirts of Old Town. The result is a superbly refreshing, bright and delicately balanced amber lager.

Sampled on 9/26/2011. This premium lager pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is bready, malty and sweet. A medium bodied premium lager. The malts are bready, caramel and slightly sweet. A touch grainy and cereal. The hops are earthy and floral. Decent carbonation. Touch of orange at the front, a little bready and hoppy and the finish. Nicely balanced. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Bread and malty in aroma, the appearance is bronze-gold and clear. The flavor is malty and has a tea characteristic to it. A good premium lager although I could’ve cared to do without the tea aspect in flavor.

Clear gold, with a caramelly aroma and very subtle noble hops. Taste was much the same with soft tones of caramel and amber malt. Not bitter at all. A little too smooth and bland.

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow to light amber. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain/bread, husks, wort), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a note of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, slightly husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Relatively nice malt character starts things off but quickly becomes tainted with husks, raw wort, and cooked vegetables. Grainy aftertaste as well. It certainly could be worse, but it also could be a lot better.

(bottle) A light amber color with mild lager malt and refreshing light citrus flavor. Good summer larger picnic choice.

bottle. Pours a clear orange amber with little to no head. Faint aroma of caramel. water. Malty flavor of caramel with a watery finish. Hay. Pretty bland, but inoffensive.

bottle. straightforward and simple, delivering on the name, amber in color with somewhat rich caramel and vienna malt; low hop aromatics; medium-low bitterness. frothy and chewy before turning slightly watery. no obvious flaws or faults, but just mostly boring.

has a very earthy tones, reminds me of mushroom. but this taste doesnt work too well. its highly sweet and has a sharp bitterness in the begging but then fades away. kind of thin, not relally pleasant.
