2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is dark yellow to light amber.
Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain/bread, husks, wort), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a note of DMS.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, slightly husky.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Relatively nice malt character starts things off but quickly becomes tainted with husks, raw wort, and cooked vegetables. Grainy aftertaste as well. It certainly could be worse, but it also could be a lot better.
