UPDATED: JUN 24, 2011 On tap @ FCB. Deep amber brown appearance with a light tan head. A touch nutty, roasty chocolate malty nose. Nutty, bitter, roasty, a touch burnt chocolate flavor with a bit of char and toffee. Lightly charred, dark malty aftertaste.

Appearance: Dark brown with a medium sized tan head and good lacing
Aroma: Roasted malts and rich coffee
Taste: Roasted malts, grainy, coffee and chocolate
A nice porter, enjoyed this one.

mild roast and black patent nose: soy, licorice, char, but quiet and restrained with mild milk powder. bready brown flavor approach with mild roast and char. acidic milk is unpleasant; otherwise the smooth and frothy texture is enjoyable.

Growler poured a clear dark brown with a small liungering tan head. Aromas of coffee, cocoa, roasted malt and charcoal. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of charcoal, bitter chocolate,m roastiness, light coffee and light earthiness with a smooth dry roasty finish.
