Thanks to Tom and Nancy for bring this home. Deep brown body under a small tan head. The aroma was strong malty coffee and chocolate. Roasted nuts, too. Probably more a coffee stout than a chocolate one. More carbonation than I like in a stout and not as thick as I like. The flavor is refreshing and rewarding, however. A pretty good drink.

12oz. bottle. Roasty, coffeeish aroma, grainy and lightly burnt with definite milky cocoa and toffee notes. Ebony in color with the faintest glint of brown when held up to light and a fine, thin, eggshell head. Roasty and lightly bitter maltiness to start, turning hoppier and drying substantially before the chocolate finish arrives. Lingering coffee and hop tones and dark breadiness. Just a little thin and watery on the palate, well carbonated, body is light-medium. Enjoyable.

A light creamy tan head sits above a black body. Roasted aromatics waif through the nostrils. A medium body on the palate showers the tongue with a light burnt and solid roasted/chocolate malt. Not astringent as some can be. Needs a bit more malt to balance for me but it is a nice overall dry stout. Thanks to Aubrey for this one!

Weak brewed coffee in the aroma. Deep black with a thin mocha head. Coffee fore proceeds a mild milk chocolate and roasted malt middle and leads into a more roasty and bitter finish. Not getting as much chocolate flavor as anticipated. Seems much more a dry stout than a sweet stout, but it does taste good.

Good standout aromas for a stout. Coffee, chocolate and wood. Black tan head as normal. Flavor I thougt was the down side here. Chocolate and thin bodied was looking for more full bodied beer from the aroma I got. None the less it was a smooth easy drinkable beer. Bought a six pack and got a free glass

Pours black with a tan head. Flavor is coffee, roasted malts, with a hint of dark chocolate. A hint of sweetness, but this is a dry beer. I like to see a little more chocolate in my chocolate stouts, but this was good.

Black body with a tan head. The aroma is chocolate and some oatmeal. There is also some roasted aroma that makes me think of a good grilling. The taste is lightly roasted coffee. I can’t really detect any chocolate in the taste. I am surprised that this is called a sweet stout. I was looking for more body and flavor. The is more roasted and dry.

12oz. bottle. Poured a dark brown, almost black with a small tan head. Aroma of dark roasted malts, coffee and dark chocolate. Flavor is dark chocolate, roasted malt and some coffee. A bit thin, but a very good beer.
