Bottled at Mesa Verde in the A terminal at Denver International airport. A black beer with a thick brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of chocolate, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty dominated by notes of chocolate, leading to a dry and slightly bitter finish.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a diminished tan head. Smooth and roasted malty aroma with a nice chocolate note. Medium sweet and roasted malty with a light chocolate malty flavour. Smooth chocolate malty finish. Light bitter and slight acidic flavoured into a mild malty finish.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2007 Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Very dark opaque brown, minimal head. Aroma of caramel and fudge with a slight metallic edge. Sweet and light bodied with notes of chocolate and tar. Some very light phenols lurk on a distance. Low bitterness.

Bottle. Black colour. The flavour is sweet and nice, roasted and creamy. Hint of creamy coffee and vanilla. Not much chocolate IMO. But nice.

Dark brown with beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, coffee and chocolate notes. Plenty of chocolate in the flavour and to follow it up comes roasted malt and delicious coffee notes. Delicious!

Medium brown with a thin head. Chocolate, hops and dark sugars on the nose. Chocolate accent with burnt coffee at the back. Ok, but a bit thin.
