COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Chocolate malt and roasted barley provide the dark color and fully body of chocolate stout. Toasy accents and a hoppy dryness add to this smooth brew. An old time favorite you’ll remember.

Bottle pours a dark brown with a tan head. The aroma is roasted barley, some hop, little chocolate. The taste is pretty poor for a stout, i get a watery mouth feel with a dry hop in the finish. Overall not a good chocolate stout.

Dark brown and beige-y head. I think it’s cloudy. Chocolate complexion, I think it is bitter from that or maybe it’s from the hops? They are in here. Good roast complexion. Other notes: malt, ginger, light citrus, oak. A decent stout.

Bottle: pours very dark black brown with a tan head. Aromas are like roasted chocolate and graham crackers... Sorta like a smore. Some nuttiness as well. Taste is very nice... Smooth roasted chocolate and a nice easy drinking mouthfeel. Very nicely done.

From a bottle. Dark black body and a very thin tan head. Smells a bit of cocoa and malted barley. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle to shaker glass. Pours black. Small light brown head, not a lot of lacing. Aroma of dark chocolate and coffee. Taste is sweet roasted malts, a little bitterness. Creamy, medium body, a little thin. Finishes slightly bitter with notes of roasted malt, coffee and of course chocolate. Not the best but certainly not the worst.

12 oz bottle, Kroger Bridge St. Roast chocolate coffee. Roast chocolate coffee. Roast chocolate coffee. Thin, fizzy, run-of-the-mill and uninspiring. This is the kind of stout I loathe. A decent brewery makes a stout recipe out of a home-brew recipe book. Seriously, who cares anymore... You don’t have to bottle an average-at-best stout just for the sake of having a stout in your roster.

Poured from bottle at 60F. Pours a dark brown with a 2 finger brown-khaki head that is creamy and long lasting; heavy lacing. Aroma - malt, some hop, touch of chocolate and yeast. Taste - a little chocolatey, coffee, malt. Creamy on the palate, but feels a bit thin. Moderate carbonation that feels right for style.
