COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Chocolate malt and roasted barley provide the dark color and fully body of chocolate stout. Toasy accents and a hoppy dryness add to this smooth brew. An old time favorite you’ll remember.

Bottle: A dark creamy beer. Very Smooth with a hint of Choclate Tast. I just tried Youngs Double Choclate Stout (which is better) so this one was at a disadvantage but overall good Beer. Very smooth finish, almost too smooth...It needs a little more kick to it...But good beer overall...

12oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Super dark brown and opaque, with a decent creamy beige head. Coffee nose, with some dark chocolate, roasted malts and earthy hops. Flavors are mostly of dark malts, with some chocolate notes, coffee, cream and medium bitterness. Dry, light-med body, quite balanced but lacks some depth. Cool.

Bottle. Aroma of chocolate and malts, a bit of nuttiness. The taste is the same, equally as mellow but all the notes are there. A bit too watery, but not terrible. 5.3% alcohol.

From 12oz bottle. Pours dark with tan head. More malt than chocolate in the aroma and taste. Pretty thin for a stout, and not much chocolate for a choc stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This solid dry stout was better than expected. She smells chocolatey & malty with a pleasing buckskin head. It was superior to many in its class. This seems underrated at 75.
