COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A celebration of craft beans, craft brews, collaboration and innovation resulted in this rare and enticing brew. Together FCB and Jackie’s Java carefully cupped, sniffed, roasted and brewed three distinct varieties of coffee that resulted in an amber ale playfully infused with bold coffee notes.

Pours a dark brown with a creamy head. Has a nice caramel taste with roasted malts. A little on the funky side but decent overall.

Dark copper pour with a decent sized and frothy white head. Strange aroma of instant coffe. Flavor is sweet and instant coffee dominates. How strange. There is a decent body to this beer with some malty bisquit and bread notes. By the end of the bomber I came to appreciate this brew as something pretty unique and surprisingly tasty. I can’t say I’ve had a coffee flavored beer before that wasn’t dark i.e. stout. Points for originality.

Aroma was at first a very strong gross unidentifiable sour smoky fishiness. then I figured out what was going on here, and I bumped up the aroma a score a couple points. This smells like sour stuffed grape leaves with extra Olive Oil. Flavor is smoke and instant coffee. color is a cure rosey amber. Bottle from a tasting at Barrios’s house.

Pour a clear light brown. Smells of roasted grains, instant coffee and ground coffee. Nice nose that confuses a bit. A little bit of olive oil and maybe hummus. Tastes like an amber ale with a little coffee flavor added. Too light in the body.

Pours a clear golden with soapy off white head. Very roasty aroma, some biscuit, caramel malts, some other weirdness I can’t put my finger on. SImilar taste. Thin finish, some light hop bite present

Pours a lacing beige head with a copper body. Aromas of used coffee grounds and dirt. Flavor is much the same. Finish is coffee. The whole of this beer is used coffee grounds.

Pours clear amber orange. Aroma of caramel, mild coffee, toasted malt. Taste is fresh toasty grain and does not have an in your face coffee bitterness but is more like a very sweetened coffee with caramel milk. Short bitter finish. Medium body, smooth texture. Pretty light overall for a beer with coffee.

Bottle @ Papsø. Thanks. Pours clear copper with a small off white bubbly head. Nose is heavy cold coffee and ashy. Very dry and bitter flavor with coffee mainly. One dimensional. Medium bodied
