Pouts a dark black with a brown head and nice aroma of chocolate. Taste is sweet, of chocolate, roasted malt, and coffee with a warming finish. Very good and drinkable brew, especially for chocolate stout lovers

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle for 2.99. Pours black with a brown hue and a small mocha colored head. Aroma is mostly roasted coffee with a little chocolate aroma. Taste is similar with a heavy amount of roasted coffee and sweet chocolate. Body is about average, a little creamy. I am surprised by how much this beer tastes like coffee instead of chocolate. Itís not bad; in fact itís pretty good. Itís just not what I was expecting.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewery. Pour is deep brown, almost black with a big tan head and great lacing. Sweet cocoa, roasty, lightly earthy, bready, grassy, and vanilla aroma. Taste is dark chocolate, light oak, toasted malt, a hint of vanilla, earthy hops, and brown sugar. Thick mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Damn decent stout.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is easily the best beer Iíve tried from Fort Collins. Very sweet, but not cloying, rich and creamy. Dark with a great head.
