A dark reddish copper weizen with a thin moka head. A sweet vanilla and bananas aroma, alcohol warmth, woody notes. In mouth, a light dunkelweizen with some grapes and nutty malt, banana esters, lighter bodied. On tap at Dunedin House of Beer, May 23 2010.

Growler with a big thanks to BlackForestCO. Pours dark brown with caramel highlights and a large frothy tan head. Aroma is toasted malts, wheat, caramel, banana, and light spice. Flavor is more toasted wheat, light caramel, banana and mild spice. Great growler for a long weekend, thanks again Jake!

Pint at brewery. Dark amber, frothy beige head. Aroma of clove, roasted malt, fruit, nut, banana. Tatst is bready, roasty, some burntness. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Teege (375) - Orlando, Florida, USA - APR 27, 2010
Pours dark brown with a tan head and medium lace. Decent nose with some lots of roasted malts and underneath that some banana and floral wheat notes. The flavor doesn’t completely come together somehow, though it is nevertheless very drinkable. It is a little bit sweet but with a roasty bitterness in the finish. Not bad but perhaps not my favorite style.

Growler thanks to footbalm (even though he wasn’t there!). Pours a very dark brown with a large beige head. The aroma is malty, chocolates, sweet milky notes, banana. The flavor is similar; a rich malt chocolate flavor, sweet banana and lighter toasted flavors. A nice brew. It was easy to drink a few glasses of this.

redlight (2265) - Winter Park, Florida, USA - APR 21, 2010
draft @ redlight redlight. Chocolatey banana on the nose caramelized banana and caramelized sugars with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Pours a dark amber with a thick white head. Caramel with hints of molasses with banana and clove notes with citrusy notes as well with a caramel finish. Nice dunkelweizen.
