A crisp copper ale with a hint of toasted hazelnuts, light and easy drinking, yet strong enough to keep you warm on a cold winter night.

16 ounce pint - $5.50 at Taco Mac in Canton, Georgia. Appearance: Pours a clear and coppery and a 1/6-inch head comprised of off-white fizz. Smell: Sweetish scent, smelling of sugar-sprinkled biscuits, toasted grains, and a sufficient level of hazelnut fragrance. Taste: All the amber ale-type maltiness, with tastes of toasted biscuits, light caramel, maybe a bit of sugar cookie. And, yes, there’s the promised background hint from the hazelnut inclusion. Spicy, lightly earthy hops with a mild bitterness. Sweetish, nutty finish that’s certainly crisp and dries out at the very last second. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation. Decidedly crisp mouthfeel. Overall: If you don’t mind a basic ale and the taste of hazelnut, then this could work for you.

Clean and crisp, nice. Just a hint of hazelnuts, which is good!

Tap at the brewery. Burnt orange and fairly clear appearance with a tan colored head. Somewhat toasty, nutty amber malty aroma. Flavor is roasted, nutty with a hint of toffee on top of a brown/amber malty body. Some nuttiness on the finish.
