3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear golden with a lot of carbonation and a big, white head that dissipates into a cap and leaves a lot of lacing. A bit of piney and citrusy notes on the nose, was not very strong. A bit stronger on the tongue, bitter with enough backbone to it. Easy guzzler, but doesn’t leave a lasting finish. Ok, but way overpriced.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from the bottle of a 4-pack this is a good APA with citrus and hops, gritty at the end, and a good abv.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours a clear copper body with a small fizzy beige head. The nose is fairly high on the citrusy hops, but there’s also a ton of brown sugar and crystal malt sweetness in here as well. The flavor is pretty terrible for my standards in the style. There’s just way too much caramel and brown sugar sweetness in here, it drowns out the majority of the hops. Medium bodied and sticky with fizzy carbonation. Meh, this isn’t my kind of IPA.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear brilliant copper with a thin ring of white foam around the edge. Copper malts and bitter grassy herbal hops dominate the nose, with a bit of ample boozy bitterness. Smooth and balanced flavor with a lot of leafy bitterness and leafy hop flavors, some bitter citrus notes and a bit of earthy copper malt tones. A bit bitter overall but has some redeemable flavours.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Not a bad extra pale ale from Fort Collins. Slightly citruscy with a nice malt backbone. Had a bottle pour at home. Light yellow with a white head.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tallahassee, Fl - Beer Stop - 12 oz bottle. Murky dark golden, light orange pour, soft, snow white head, spots of lacing, Aroma has some distant spruce, some doughiness, Flavor is pleasant, slightly overhanded, muddled citrus bitterness, some cake mix sweetness, just a hint of ripening vegetables. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Needs a bit of work.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Medium light bread and nutty for the malt, herbs for the hops, light dough for the yeast, with a hint of bar rag. Head is small, frothy, white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is light amber. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, oily with a soft to lively carbonation. An okay drinking beer, but not very DIPA-ish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours hazy deep orange color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/toasted earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Nice robustness and complexity of citrus/pine hops and balanced bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly crisp/sticky, and lightly creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a really solid Imperial pale ale style. All around good balance, robustness, and complexity of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

12oz bottle 3/19/15 (Courtesy of TerryR)-40° in Shaker-Pours a hazy orangish amber with a small white head. Aroma of hops and citrus. Taste of the same with more hops and some malt. This full bodied brew is well balanced and goes down easy.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Poured hazy light copper color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with very good lacing. Moderate to heavy complex hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bitter hop flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a good beer that exceeded my expectations.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Slightly hazy light amber, white rim head, bars of lace. Taste is mild bready malt that adds strong citrus hops on the swallow, the malt joining again a little at the finish. It fills the bill, but doesn’t seem like a brew that deserves 7.5% abv.
