COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A man from another border...brewing an oatmeal porter? Maybe a drunk, possibly a monk, may have created this funk. A potent brew, rich with the finest malts and yeast strains too...were swallowed down my pallet-and for celtic sakes-devoured. I found this to be an extravagant brew, created by a man in a kilt for both me and you. Enjoy.

Murphy (1759) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - DEC 21, 2005
UPDATED: DEC 23, 2005 Pours with a strong beige head, body is very dark brown. Rich aroma of cocoa, molassis, dry roasted malts. Housey. Taste is tons of cocoa, grains. Lots of chocolate and roasted malt. Slight soy. Finish is bitter, roasty, just a touch sour. Palate just a touch watery. Good first porter offering from FCB.
