Draught. Head is mostly diminishing. Body is medium brown. Aroma is moderately malty (bread, roasted nuts, caramel), lightly hoppy (flowers), with a note of toffee. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.

On tap at the brewpub, 4/12/06: The hostess was kind enough to let us try a special tap club offering. Great body. Dark copper. Caramel-nut and VERY well balanced. Drinkable. Not quite a dunkel to me, but good!

Growler.Pours with a solid but diminshing head, body is clear dark maroon. Aroma is grainy, chocolatey, dry. I’m told this has a ton of Munich malt. Taste is nutty, chocolatey, lighty fruitiness. Good balance with just a touch of bittering hops, could maybe use a little more. Medium bodied. Nice, but needs a little more umpf.
