COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This experimental brew pours black with a thick beige head and an aroma that’s big on chocolate with hints of honey. The silky smooth body is accompanied by a flavor dominated by chocolate malt and complemented by fruity yeast esters. A mild sweetness paired with a healthy dose of centennial hops bring the Trappist Stout experience to a close.

An interesting mix. Don’t usually think of stouts to be in the Trappist style, but this one does it nicely. Light effervescence, little head, dark brown pour, with some floral hops.

On tap at the brewery, dark black pour with off white head. Aroma has notes of some slight dark fruit, roast, coffee, hints of toffee, slight fruity and yeasty notes as well. Taste is coffee and chocolate, going into some pear, banana, and yeast notes, finishing with some toffee, fairly sweet.

Tap @ brewery. Deep brown appearance with a light brown head. Lots of chocolate, cocoa, and dark fruits in the nose. Candy sugar-like sweetness, rich chocolate malty, dark fruity, plum, fig flavor.
