3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a nice brew from the Fo Co Brewery. Pours a clear amber redish color with an off white head. Aroma isnít great, but the flavor was good. Very smooth with a malty not-so-bitter taste. Of all the brews at this brewery, this is among my favorite.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours dark red, small white head. Aroma is caramel malts and citrus hops. Flavor is very malty, lots of caramel, victroy and munich, witha slight touch of chocolate in the background. Hop bitterness with some citrus and pine but more bitterness than hop flavor or aroma. Very malty with hop bitterness with a good amount of chocolate and roasted malts in the background.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a hazy ruby red color with a medium creamy offwhite head. Aroma of citrus hops overlaying the toasted malts. Slight hint of plum and sweet malts. Initial taste starts Toasty! Lingering bitter hops fade quick into a smokey chocolately finish. Body is very light but compliments smoothly. Sticky mouthfeel. Fair head retention and good Lacing of the glass.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a copper color with an off-white head. Aroma is of slight citrus hops, toasted malts, caramel, and some sweet malts. Flavor is very malty with sweet and toasted malts with a slight backbone of citrus hops. Finish is pretty light with not much of a lingering flavor. Somewhat decent for an amber.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
I like the aroma, nice grainy goodness and some hops. A little hoppy for an amber, but lots of malts come through in the finish. Still manages to seem a little thin. Decent though.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a dark ruby with an average size creamy head. Aroma is tons of malty goodness with an overall sweetness and maybe even some wood notes as well. Mouth feel is nice and full with just the right touch of carbonation. Flavor has wood notes and lots of malts and finishes nice and sweet. Really nice beer great for sipping on a cool night.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle pours ruby red with a nice head that laces the glass nicely. the aroma is is slightly sweet with a bit of oak. The flavor is slighlty sweet with an oaky flavor with a hint of bitterness. The finish is more of the same and it sits on the roof of the mouth. this one is strange amber ale. didnt love this.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly sweet faint cherry aroma, with just the barest hint of hops. Pours red, with a fluffy off-white head that quickly fades down to a crown. The taste is not what I was expecting. Itís got hints of chocolate, smoke, and oak in it, with a moderate smoke/bitter finish. Overall... not bad, but not what I was expecting in an amber ale...

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
bottle. This is an amber colored ale. I see a nice tan head. Aroma hints at grapefruit with plenty of juicier fruit notes. Thereís a bit of toast, cherry, and even a touch of chocolate. This is a pretty chocolately take on the style. I mean, itís not like a stout or anything, but itís there. Itís a standard amber ale . Very sessionable with smooth, slightly sweet malt character and enough hop presence to keep things interesting. The finish lets out a little DMS and strange acrid acidity though. All in all, an average easy drinking ale that isnít painfully dull. They shouldíve used smoked malt in this one too ;]

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Red! Cherry-colored, stunningly clear, and sporting an attractive beige froth. Upfront huge whiff of diacetyl thet lasts for the entire glass; also toasted malts and raspberry. Very fruity- a peach/strawberry/apple combo- buttery-oaky malt, some tartness, and a spicy Saaz-like finish. Slightly metallic. Smooth, rich palate. Offputting chalky and acrid aftertaste. "Hoppiest ale"... what hops? Decent, but pretty rough around the edges.
