COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We ventured into unfamiliar territory to create an IPA to fit our style. An intense floral nose, firm balanced flavor and long hoppy finish make Rocky Mountain IPA our very own.

Bottle. Smells like a cheesy gerbil cage. Taste-caramel, hops (I guess), sticky, woody, high CO2. Not good. No sir didn’t like it.

Bottle. Gold pour. Aroma has some hop bitterness and floral notes. Taste is floral up front, some citrus and bitter aftertaste. Not bad but not top tier. Good all day drinking IPA.

Nice floral notes on the nose after a copper pour into an IPA glass. Head is light and quickly receding. Comes across with medium body, medium bitterness, with the resins coming through clearly but not as much of the florals that came through in aroma. All in all, slightly better than a decent beer with nothing to complain about.

Bready boring bitter amber beer. Just not very exciting and hoppy, might be because the bottle is quite old...

Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - JUL 11, 2014
Pours a slightly hazy amber orange with a well sustained off white head. Hops are out of the glass first with a little ripe orange and grapefruit. Light florals and a touch of caramel on the back. Sweet then bitter on the tongue. A bit too much caramel for my taste and a weaker hop presence than in the nose. Finishes with lingering citrus notes. Decent.

Bottle from Hazel's beverage world. Deep amber color, white head. Bitter taste with grapefruit, mango, floral hops, resin and pine. Bitter finish with grapefruit, hops and pine. Very nice IPA.

Pours a slightly murky orange-amber with a thick off white head. Aroma is orange marmalade. Taste is bright mango and citrus with a citrus rind bitterness that runs throughout the palate. Nice & pleasant.

kramer (5092) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 27, 2014
Bottle. Pours a clear copper body under a one finger frothy off-white head. The aroma is decently hoppy with some nice floral and citrus notes over a slightly too-sweet smelling caramel malt base. The flavor is fairly bitter up front, but the finish is dominated by sweet caramel and crystal malt, leaving a lingering sweetness that isn’t what I want from an IPA. There’s no real flaws, just a personal preference type of thing. Light to medium bodied with a slight clinginess to the back end and moderate fizzy carbonation. Not a big fan of this one.

foyle (253) - Wyoming, USA - MAY 23, 2014
Poured from 12 oz bottle into schooner glass. Appearance: a 1" bubbly off white head dies away quickly with some moderate lacing. Color is a quite hazy orange-copper with a bit of sediment in suspension. Aroma: sweet orange, grapefruit, and nice malty backbone. Mouthfeel: medium bodied, frothy, and quite sticky with a fairly dry finish. Flavor: Sweet orange, grapefruit dominate with some caramel and whole wheat bread flavor. There is a strong lingering grapefruit/citrus rind bitterness in the finish. Overall: very good ipa.

12 oz bottle, Kroger Bridge St. Decent looking, medium brown with a froofy white head, becoming a decent ring plus sparse covering; solid lacing. Aroma is on the darker side of IPA’s: apple, darker sweetness, earthier, grapefruit. Flavor similar, adding toffee; finish borders on too sharp but isn’t quite. Medium body, a little on the flat side but not too bad; medium sticky. Overall, surprisingly good. Easy enough to drink, and would be great with Italian food imo.
