We ventured into unfamiliar territory to create an IPA to fit our style. An intense floral nose, firm balanced flavor and long hoppy finish make Rocky Mountain IPA our very own.

Bottle. Pours a deep cloudy amber. Floral hoppy west coast aroma. Mmm Mmm good. The taste was bitter, hoppy, with a nice strong bite. My type of beer.

This has a great smell. Tasty hops. This is mostly bittering hop flavor with a little bit of metallic aftertaste to it. The head is quite tasty. Hops and a bit of creaminess. One of the only beers with any real hops that I had on my Tennessee trip.

This is an incredible IPA! It really has everything that one could ask from this style. The beer poured a golden orange color with a soft but thick cream-colored head. There was a beautiful cascade of lacing left around the glass. The aroma was full of hops, with hints of grass, earth and lemon. The body was perfectly balanced and was smooth and drinkable. The flavors were absoutely delicious, with notes of bitter hops, lemon, grapefruit and grass. There was just enough of a sweet maltiness to provide the backbone and balance to this great IPA. The finish was again a beautiful mix of bitter hoppiness and malty texture, with a lingering spiciness and orange peel flavor. This is one outstanding IPA! It was so good that I drank two bottles while writing this review! I wish I had more!

this is an awesome IPA. Full fruity nose, with a dark cooper color. Reminds me of Celebetion. A warm winter feel to it. Dry, bitter and damn good. finishes with lingering hops with a well balanced full bodied flavor. Top notch. If I new the alc. content I might add more points.

Bottle @ Akkurat, Stockholm, July 30 2011. Dark orange / copper colored beer, large white head. Fantastic smell! Grapefruit, hops and bitterness. Taste the same, very bitter finish. Low carbo, low to medium body, could have had a little more but still a great beer!

Ft. Collins Rocky Mountain IPA is a slightly hazy amber ale with a thin, dense, off white film of a head that leaves decent lacing. It smells sweet, grainy and resinous. It kind of smells like fresh cut pine. Itís medium bodied, soft and smooth. The finish is a little silky and it leaves the tongue a little stunned. It has a big, resiny pine flavor. It has plenty of bitterness to offer. Yeah, bitter, piny hops, cranked to ten. The bitterness is omnipresent and long lasting. Wow, this seems pretty crushing for a plain olí IPA. Iím impressed and will try more of their offerings.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with medium creamy white head. Aroma is mandarin, pomelo, yoghurt, malt and caramel. Taste is light sweet, medium bitter and light sour. Body is creamy with soft carbonation. Finish is long and bitter with notes of citrus fruit, caramel, milk and cream. Not that complex but very intense and well balanced. Excellent beer!

First in a six-beer sampler: an attractive orange-brown body hoists a thick white foam that leaves picture-perfect lacing in the snifter... floral, pine bouquet, bright, vivid and substantial... a bit of complexity on the tongue: hops surround and form a gentle pillow, but the weight is both palpable and palatable.... hops flutter as cirrus smears the glass; by mid-drink, alcohol is still imperceptible... malts are somewhat balanced and ends with a sense of fruity esthers...an above-average American IPA ad one Iíd redrink but not to rerate (and to thinK: Fort Collins must be modest in saying they are "new" to the style!)...

Very rich dark amber color. Wonderful floral notes with a lingering light white head. Floral notes stay on the palate and the bitterness is just about perfect.
