COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
I love brewing irreverent beers! Taking a classic style and pushing it way beyond its boundaries is one of the most enjoyable things to do as a brewer. This highly hopped, palate crushing, Imperial IPA is sure to slake your lust for hops. Go hoppy or go home! Adam Glaser, Brewer

22 oz bottle. First glass poured clear, next with too much sediment. Nice orangey color. Aromas of citrus(orange not grapefruit,) carmel sweetness, and a little earthy/grassy note. Bracing bitterness, big malty flavor and alcohol. This is a really wonderful beer, but it’s a little too barley wine-ish, lacking the POW aroma, and less complex than the exemplars of the style. Call it a barley wine and throw a bottle in the cellar.

Draft sample. Poured clear copper color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate complex citrus hop aroma. Medium to full body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium smooth bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This beer met my expectations.

Draft to taster at Ei8ht Ball. Looks solid; a somewhat hazy burnt orange with thin eggshell head that steadily dissipates into thin lacing. Smells of sweet pale malt and some juicy hops (in that order). Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel that borders on being cloying mouthfeel. This beer should be renamed "The Average Hop".

Pours a hazy copper with one finger of head. Aroma is pine sweet malt and floral. Flavor is floral and malty. Somewhat bitter but not overly so. Medium body and somewhat sweet. Nice beer.

Bottle from NJ. Pours out a hazy medium copper color. Strongly sweet hoppy aromas and flavor. Lots of alcohol. Very thick and sweet. Quite disappointing.

Decent aroma. Not much carbonation. Not as as much hops as I expected for an Imperial IPA but overall good flavor and definitely a drinkable beer.

Smells more of alcohol than hops. Copper to orange color that leaves nice lacing around the glass. Taste is dominated by alcohol. Smooth at first, then a bitter alcohol comes across the palate. Overall, it's ok. Had it in a sifter from a 22oz bottle. It's not hateful, but not great. JP---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Oasis. Dark orange-brown body. Steady beige head. Intense hop aroma and some unrestrained alcohol. A little ruthless, unrestrained, piny. Not one I’d intentionally revisit, sort of an ugly beast. Oily, resinous, boozy.

A hazy orange body that hold up a sticky mostly white head. Aroma of citrus hops, juicy malt and a touch of alcohol. The flavor starts sweet, then some bitterness comes across the tongue and then the sweetness finishes. Too sweet for my tastes in a IIPA.

22oz bottle from Binny’s in Chicago. Strong alcohol dominates both aroma and flavour. Overpowering hop bitter, a hop heads dream.
