COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is the love-child of two of my favorite styles: big, hoppy IPA’s and crisp, refreshing American Wheat beers. Synergy is achieved as the bold citrusy hops of the IPA harmonize with the thirst quenching tartness of an American Wheat. Pairs nicely with hikes to Horsetooth, Poudre River floats, and moonlit bikerides.

Tallahassee, FL - Momo’s Pizza - on tap. Sturdy pillowy white head on top of a medium copper pour, nice lacing. Fragrant, fresh aroma with some spearmint hints, flowers, and pine. Juicy flavor with a front forward assault of grapefruty bitterness, sweet, sticky maple syrup notes, some nectarines, bananas, and a touch of mint in. Good, thick sticky mouthfeel. Pretty solid - not a hop-bomb

Pours clear amber with a big puffy lasting beige head, very fine clinging lacing. Aromas of grass, hay, grapefruit, biscuit, toffee. Medium-full body, smooth and velvety. Sweet and rich, balanced by big lasting bitterness with a hint of tang in between. It’s big, brash, and full of panache, but lacks subtlety. Takes more after the IPA side of the family. A grand experiment.

Pint on tap at Flipdaddy’s. Perfectly clear yellow color, nice creamy white head. A barely discernable alcohol taste. Impressive for a "wheat" ale. Tastes like this could be 6.5 - 7.0 %, really hides the ABV well. Lighter, crisp carbonation. Nice, sweet lemon-peel aroma / taste. Nice hops, and ginger. Some lace. Really impressive, and unique.

Very large, bright white head from a very vigorous pour. Takes a long time to settle too. Light hoppy aroma with lots of sugary smells. Some sweet tarts, white cane sugar, a bit of lemon and herbs. Color is a hazy, bright golden orange. A little bit flat in the mouth. Some hops presence but not as much as you would expect from a IIPA. Light malts and wheat along with some more lemon and straw. Not much really jumps out at you in the flavor. Rather light and crisp with a nice alcohol warming. A decent brew but nothing special. It will make you feel special if you have too many of them though.

22oz bottle from lizardville, pour is a nice light amber like a wheat, the nose reveals more hop presence than expected, taste though has a strange mouthfeel or mid palate taste, which fades into the hop bitterness, not bad and easy to gulp down despite the 9.5%ABV

On tap at the brewer. Pours with a lightly hazed yellow hued body and a lasting white head. Aromas are fruity, hoppy and a bit sweet. Caramel and citrusy. Flavors are also a bit sweet, citrus hops, grainy, wheat. Lively bubbles, medium dry, fuller bodied. Alcohol is decently well hidden.

Strong aroma is both wheaty and hoppy, with about equal parts of both, something I do not believe I have encountered before. I love to find beers with distinctive flavors and combinations; I don’t always like ’em, but I’m glad to give ’em a fair shake. It pours a pretty clear golden yellow with a fairly thick and rather persistent fluffy white head that leaves a good bit of lacing. Hoppy flavor has a wheaty undertone, a sweet fruity note, and just a touch of bitterness. Texture is smooth, on the thick side, just a little fizzy, leaving a hoppy, fruity, slightly wheaty and slightly tingly finish. Incredible? Maybe not, but still darn good!

22oz bomber into a pint glass. Pours a hazy gold with not much head or lacing. Smells very citrusy with pineapple, lime and orange being prominent. Also a slight hint of malt. Taste is very hop forward with the citrusy hops dominating the flavor and mouthfeel with just a hint of malt at the end. You can tell there is wheat here but it doesn’t stand out. Mouthfeel is fairly thick and appropriate for the style. I must admit I am not a huge fan of imperial IPA’s and this one was just ok to me. Glad I got to try but probably won’t seek out again.
