Know Your Brewer: Bending tradition has always been a guiding force for my brewing, and this beer is no exception. A combination of old world grain and new world style offers a nutty flavor with the fresh aroma of hops. Happy Brewing, Prost!

Bottle. Poured a clear dark orange color. The head was off white and creamy with good retention and lacing. Caramel, toffee, pine, and herbal hop aromas. medium bodied and slightly sweet with moderate bitterness. Herbal and pine-type hop flavors with a meaty toffee/caramel malt backbone.

On tap at Joe Canals West Deptford.
Appearance: Murky brown body with a creamy tan head on top, great retention.
Aroma: The aroma is very earthy, dirt and pine come to mind. It smells as if I rolled around in the grass all day along with a slight nuttiness.
Taste: Caramel sweetness is up front right into a dirt and pine flavor with a moderate bitterness. The finish is a touch dry of nuts and spicy rye.
Palate: Medium bodied with moderate bitterness.
Overall: Maybe it’s because I grew up in the woods, but this reminds me of home. This smells like a day in the woods and tastes like it. I highly enjoy this.

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Burn orange colour, thick light gold head with wispy retention. Sweet sticky malts, coniferous hop character, light floral notes. The rye character is arely detectable here, but as an IIPA it’s fine, just a little on the malty side (which I like in my IPAs, so maybe thats why I flavour this over many of my RB peers).

Boozy and unimpressed. I know rye IPAs may be the thing right now, but this one does not work for me,

Murky orange pour with fair khaki head. Semi sweet and caramel honey and pine tree and very resinous. A little apricot fruitiness. a slight bit of rye spice on the tail, but almost not noticable at all. Not really my thing, but its okay.

Bomber--roasted smell with citrus dominance. Light hints of fruit with small alcohol burn.--nice copper color with off white head--nice initial taste with bitter burn at end--coats the mouth--overal too much citrus and harshness without a good enough flavor base for my tastes

Bomber. Poured medium-golden with a short off-white head.. not anywhere near clear.. not visually appealing. The aroma picked up biscuity malts and caramel with not a whole lot of hops or rye coming through.. some broken-down citrus and grassy notes, but that’s about it. The flavor found biscuit, caramel, and molasses malt at the core, with light herbal and piney bitterness around.. some rye and toasted grains on the tacky, bitter, unpleasant finish. Medium-bodied and tacky at times on the palate.. this either wasn’t very good, or I just didn’t get it.

Bottle. Pours a murky amber color with a moderate white head. Nose has some floral hops notes as well as rye. Taste is fairly malty, actually, and just a tad sweet.
