COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brother of the beloved Barley Wine Ale, our brew boasts a preposterous 50% malted wheat for a pillowy mouthfeel. Ravenous yeast yields a warming brew ripe with caramel-like flavors and fruity esters.

Bomber pours brilliantly clear copper with off white head. The aroma is light and fruity and just as much fusel like notes as anything else. The taste is pretty sweet with malty and fruitiness coming from plums, cherries and raisins with mild to somehow harsh booziness around the edges. Pretty nice albeit young brew. I think I need to age some.

Bottle, 05/27/2012. Pours amber ruby, thin white head. Aroma is malt-forward, wheat toast with fruity bouquet, honey and caramel notes, soft piney hops come out more as this warms. Taste has toasted wheat malts, some banana character, bright caramel finish, subtle citrus, but sweet. Medium palate, low carbonation, but alcohol not noticeable. Nice, closer to a barleywine IMO, perhaps a tad on the sweet side, but overall enjoyable.

Bottle. Burnt orange colour, hazy, medium white head. Aroma is very malty, sweet barley candy, fruity nuances. Nice malt structure, surprisingly toasty, very sweet, lightly fruity. Full bodied, slight alcohol warmth at the end. Nothing stands out, but it was satisfying enough.

Fruity and biscuit aroma. Pour is muddy orange brown in color with minimal head. Kept in my now cold garage, so I have to let this warm up a bit. Flavor is straight forward fruit and some toffee flavor. Fairly simple. Slightly watery. Alcohol is well masked.

Pour on tap at the brewery is hazy orange with white head, aroma brought notes of honey, fruity peach, some vanilla, lots of sugary caramel and toffee notes. Taste is a bit too sweet, but nice hints of vanilla and honey go into caramel, some fruit notes, sugary toffee, finishes sweet. Alcohol is not present.
