From notes: It was poured from a can the color was a dark brown with a slight head. The aroma was metallic like the can. The taste was of a slight bitter malt flavor.

Good even head, nice and caramelly, yet a hint of darker malt. Very sessionable darker ale. A pleasant surprise from north of the border.

Brun très foncé avec un petit col tan. Arôme et le goût de malts grillés, mais très creux. Pas du tout comme il l’habitude d’être. Meh.

On tap at the Toad in the Hole (Winnipeg). A clear, very dark red-brown body, medium creamy head. Light, sweet malty aroma, roasted malt and caramel flavour. Definitely light and easy drinking, Not fantastic, but a decent Winnipeg staple.
